Christchurch - 21.01. - 27.01.

Yesterday, was my first day in christchurch. It was already late afternoon when I decided to leave the hostel and walk to the city center. Some people told me that there would be some kind of music festival. So i went to the Haley Park , where this festival should be. As soon as i arrived their, i realized that it was not quite what i had expected. It was just a festival with street artist, similar to a circus. Well i was not really interested in that, i had been looking forward to hear some nice live music, but this somehow disappointed me.

The center of christchurch looks horrible: construction areas in every direction you look to. If you walk through the streets of christchurch you can still feel that there is still some kind of dark mist over the whole city because of the earthquake 2 years ago. I don't really like this city, it's so large and you cannot see anyone on the streets. This city if a fucking ghost town. On the way back from the festival - this is funny - i really saw some ghosts. At one of the construction areas their were some pacman ghosts on a fence.And even pacman was there ;).
